U.S. Citizenship
Our immigration lawyer informed us that a temporary "hold" has been placed on all citizenship approvals. It is related to the recent Presidential election and the system used for extensive personal background checks. We have decided to return to Ethiopia as planned on January 3, 2017 to await the next step in the process.
